First look of this strain is usually “I’ll pass”. We’re not huge fans of darker colored powder. Most of the time it sucks. It is weak, it tastes old, just not what we’re looking for… There are always exceptions though, and Red Velvet is one of them. A quintessential red vein. Relaxing, happy, relieving, and one that us and our testers finished the rest of the bag before we knew it. This strain passed unanimously with the testers. Even for those who prefer greens or whites, Red Velvet still had stellar ratings across the board.

I’m so glad that Chris offered this fermented red because it slaps and the name is perfect. Velvet is soft and taking this is like being wrapped in a warm and fuzzy blanket and the relief is great. It wasn’t super sedating for me and felt like a mid to relatively more energetic red.
I got to try it during a promotional period but look forward to getting a membership to be able to have it again.
